PEI farms attract interest from French agricultural colleges

Abstract

Describes the development of an apprenticeship program that will be a partnership between The Coopérative d'intégration francphone de l'Î.P.E (CIF) and Lycée Pommerit in France. The program will see several Island farms host student volunteers from the French agricultural college for a two month apprenticeship where they will gain experience on a rural farm and improve their English. [Includes a photograph.]
