Abstract
Describes the "Stop Bernier" movement, a group of canadian dairy farmers who bought memberships to the Conservative Party of Canada with the intention of voting against candidate Maxime Bernier in the 2017 party leadership race. Bernier expressed his intentions of scrapping the dairy industry's supply management system if he ever became Prime Minister. Includes comments from dairy farmer Derwin Clow of Freetown PEI, who was one of the dairy producers voting against Bernier. [Includes a photograph.]
