Abstract

Discusses some of the challenges faced by entrepreneurs who are immigrants to PEI as they work to establish a new or a acquire an existing business. Focusses on the experiences of Larkin Lin, originally of Shanghai, who now owns Paul's Flower Shop in Charlottetown. Also highlights several organizations which help support immigrant entrepreneurs, including the Charlottetown Chamber of Commerce, the PEI Connectors program, and the City Hall Newcomer Ambassadors' group. [Includes photographs.]
