Abstract

On June 6th, the Hunter Clyde watershed group and Wheatley River improvement group hosted a grade 6 environmental fun day with both home schooled students and students from local schools. On june 20th, students from Ecole Saint Augustin took part in a shoreline cleanup and learned about piping plovers at Barachois Beach. Staff from Parks Canada presented on the piping plover. The summer work crew will be re-planting a grove of red oak trees in conjunction with the Blue Heron Sea Cadets. The public are encouraged to join the watershed group.
