Fall research tours

Abstract

Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada hosted their annual tour of variety trials at a research farm in Harrington, P.E.I. on August 29, 2014. Full results will be shared at the Fredericton Research Centre next February. Cavendish Farms held their annual tour on September 2, 2014 to view the research plot trials undertaken. Full results will be shared in the winter and spring at grower meetings and in Potato Board publications. The Canadian Fertilizer Institute and their Farming 4R Island program hosted a tour around central P.E.I. on September 18, 2014. The tour visited three participating growers as well as a Phosphorous Saturation Study trial conducted by Dr. Judith Nyiraneza of AAFC and the Kensington North watershed.
