Dressage PEI holds successful horse show at Crapaud Agriplex
Abstract
Dressage PEI held its Spring Bronze and Gold horse show at the Crapaud Agriplex. Dressage is a competitive equestrian sport that consists of a prescribed series of movements ridden within a standard arena. Ken Mellish, Dressage PEI chairperson said that forty-two riders and horses from three Maritimes provinces participated. The judge was Susan Rothgeb, an Equine Canada qualified Senior Judge from Ontario. Overall adult and junior winners and their horses in the Gold and Bronze Shows are noted, along with the overall high score rider in the FEI Prix St. George class. The show also included a freestyle riding event where the horse is ridden to music. {Photo depicts Judy Harvey from Charlottetown riding the horse Dakota]
