Potato marketing group to meet in Charlottetown

Abstract

Delegates from major potato growing areas in Canada and US will attend the Potato Marketing Association of North America in Charlottetown, PE on July 13-15, 2014. Included on the Monday agenda will be tours of Prince Edward Aqua Farms (New London), a potato wash plant of RWL Holdings, Ltd. (New Annan), and Monaghan Farms (Kensington). On Tuesday, delegates will visit Canada's Smartest Kitchen at the Culinary Institute (Charlottetown) and Cavendish Culinary Creation Centre (Cavendish). The meeting is hosted by the Potato Processing Committee of the PEI Potato Board.
