Harold MacNevin, president of the Dairy Farmers of PEI, states that dairy producers are concerned about the possible negative impact to the Canadian supply management system under the proposed Trans Pacific Partnership agreement currently being negotiated. US and New Zealand industry partners have complained that they do not have adequate access to the Canadian and Japanese markets due to their supply management systems.
