Webster comes under fire for movie charge

Abstract

In the PEI Legislature [one-off column] Opposition Agriculture Critic Colin LaVie questions Agriculture and Forestry Minister George Webster about a $37.88 movie fee that was charged to the minister's hotel bill while Webster was attending the State Agriculture and Rural Leaders meeting in Grapevine, Texas. LaVie maintained that the charge should have been put on Webster's personal bill, rather than on an account that is chargeable to the government. Webster states that he will investigate the movie charge and reimburse the amount if it is not a work-related expense.
