Abstract

Jeff and Carey Wood operate The Old Mackenzie Farm in Rose Valley using a community supported agriculture model, as well as by selling veggie boxes year-round. The Woods moved to PEI in from Ontario in 2010, and their off-season crops are grown in five greenhouses. They sell to restaurants, at the farm gate during summer months, following organic practices, although they are not yet certified as organic. [Photo by Andy Walker]
