Updated public atlas now available

Abstract

Agriculture and Forestry Minister George Webster announces that the PEI Public Land Atlas has been updated to reflect changes in provincial land information and forest cover. Created in 2006, the atlas was developed to identify publicly owned lands in the province such as provincial forests, wildlife management areas, provincial and national parks, natural areas and demonstration woodlots. Some of the the public lands are cooperatively managed with other environmental groups and the Abegweit First Nation.
