Crane wants answers on hog industry

Abstract

Independent Morell-Mermaid MLA Olive Crane wants to know what the provincial government is doing to help hog producers deal with the impact of Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus. She asked Agriculture and Forestry Minister George Webster which provinces were now dealing with the issue, what seps have been put in place to stop the virus from spreading in PEI, whether the virus us spread by feed and what financial supports the province provided to help out the farmer where the virus was found and the industry in general
