Abstract

The true beauty of Prince Edward Island "represents the work of farmers and farmers alone", author and historian Reg Porter told members of the PEI ADAPT Council. Porter said next year will be the 250th anniversary of the survey of PEI into 67 lots by Captain Samuel Holland. The Meacham's Atlas is also an important artifact. These maps highlight the issue of The Land Question and the 1880 Atlas shows where all the owners of land were settled at that time
