Abstract

The Adventure Group was incorporated in 1992 to work with young people to help them bring their talents to their communities. The Life Management Program teaches parenting and employment skills to help young moms and youth succeed. Last November women started attending the Adventure Group/Life Management program. Each person was an unemployed, single parent who had faced a number of challenges in their lives. This article was written from the viewpoint of a program participant
