Abstract

In 2012 PEI Potato Board and other partners signed the 4R Nutrient Stewardship Memorandum to improve fertilizer use in PEI, field trials have been conducted at five sites across PEI; the preliminary results demonstrated that potato crops are comparatively inefficient at utilizing nutrients when compared to other crops and indicate that more research is needed for PEI growing conditions
