Fourth annual PEI Winter Woodlot Tour and Workshop draws approximately 1,000 people to its February 1, 2014 event held at My Mother's Country Inn, New Glasgow; Groups that participated included: Provincial Department of Agriculture and Forestry; PEI Woodlot Owners Association; PEI Trappers Association; New Glasgow Fire Department; Island EMS; Island Falconry Services; Scouts Canada; Central Region Sport & Recreation Council; Go!PEI; local watershed groups; Birding PEI; Wintermoor Orchard; woodcarvers Sheila Curtis, Jim Jones and Aleš Jánošik; and maple tree tapping demonstrators Kevin Laughlin and Jackie Waddell
