Abstract

Notes from the Road [feature column] : Musician Catherine MacLellan discusses how she uses the slower pace of winter time on PEI to reconnect with community life and to work on new musical compositions for the next touring season; MacLellan also expresses the satisfaction that she derives from her performances at the Dunk, a local home concert venue that has provided support for emerging and established musicians on PEI, and she describes some of the upcoming changes planned at the Dunk that will re-emphasize its efforts towards building community
