Abstract

Five new exhibits highlilghted : "Arthur Heming : Chronicler of the North, " provides an overview of Heming, a painter/illustrator/novelist whose artwork played a key role in defining the image of Canada; "In Transit : Artists on Locations," curated by Kevin Rice, features works from the Gallery's permanent collection, with a large number of pieces from PEI artist Robert Harris (1849-1919); and "Somewheres," an exhibition of 13 emerging Maritime artists, includes two PEI artists Sandi Hartling and Becka Viau
