Abstract
Teresa Doyle launches Prince Edward Island Folk Songbook project; Doyle seeks submissions of traditional and contemporary Island folk songs from artists, historians, songwriters and music lovers; songs compiled will be preserved in a virtual, online songbook and downloadable e-book; project will include traditional Celtic, Mi'kmaq, and Acadian songs, along with contemporary folk songs that tell tales and legends of the Island; performances of the folk songs at PEI 2014 celebrations will by alumni of the Children of Bedlamb Chorus
