abstract: This EMA report is an assessment of the possible issues arising from the growing use of
natural gas for electricity generation in North America. A key objective of this report
is to provide a broad understanding and a perspective on the potential implications,
challenges and opportunities for Canadian natural gas and electricity markets associated
with the development of gas-fired generation.
