abstract: Environment Canada?s Science Plan represents a significant step in a continuing effort
to strengthen the role of environmental science in supporting environmental quality,
human health and safety, and economic prosperity. The Plan will build on Environment
Canada?s world-class leadership in environmental science by setting the strategic
direction for science activities undertaken by the Department over the next decade.
