abstract: This notice is the Budget Implementation Act which amends several pieces of legislation.
These include the Excise Tax Act; the Excise Act; the Air Travellers Security Charge
Act; the Income Tax Act; the Budget Implementation Act; and the First Nations Goods and
Services Tax Act. The amendments involve provisions related to the GST, tobacco tax,
capital gains, charitable donations, and personal credits.
