abstract: This is the second update on World Trade Organization agricultural negotiations from
Canada?s perspective. It discusses several aspects of current and pending talks,
including the Doha Development Agenda, Canada?s objectives, geographical indications,
the U.S. Farm Bill, the European Union Common Agricultural Policy, developing countries,
and the Cairns Group. The booklet provides Web site addresses where more information may
be obtained, as well as sites where readers can participate in consultations.
