Making progress together : Sustainable development strategy 2007-2009

abstract: This fourth strategy of the department focuses on the three pillars of sustainable
development: economic, environmental, and social. It gives an overview of the issues
that influence how the department can best green its operations. The strategy also
highlights the ongoing implementation of the Agricultural Policy Framework and
illustrates how the department integrates sustainable development into decision-making.
In describing the department?s greening efforts, the strategy also sets out logic models
with performance indicators for tracking implementation.
